Instituto Profarma celebrated 19 years of history in September.

Promoting well-being and social equality among vulnerable groups in Brazil is the mission of Instituto Profarma, which began its journey 19 years ago and today has a consolidated history marked by countless achievements. To celebrate its anniversary, the Institute carried out special activities throughout September in honor of senior citizens.

On the 18th, a group of Embaixadores do Bem visited the ONG Casa de Felipe, a long-term care facility for the elderly. The meeting was an opportunity to celebrate and share moments of exchange and learning.

“It was one of the most magical moments I have ever experienced: a pleasant afternoon with music, art, self-care, conversations, listening, hugs, and affection. Yes, lots of hugs and affection. I filled my life baggage a little more, listening to exciting stories full of experiences. Being a volunteer means receiving more than giving,” said Sabrina Pires, Culture & People Management Coordinator at Grupo Profarma.

On September 23, an event was held at the Anália Franco Inn. On the 25th, the meeting took place at the Rei dos Reis Nursing Home. At both institutions, which cater to the elderly, the Embaixadores do Bem promoted various activities with the residents, including theater and story reading.

“This year, we chose to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Instituto Profarma with initiatives focused on senior citizens. This decision reflects much of our essence: being close to people, providing care and attention, and promoting quality of life. I am proud to be part of this story and to see the Instituto Profarma build, every day, a legacy of social responsibility and affection,” said Carlos Eduardo Machado, Marketing Analyst at the Instituto Profarma.
