Profarma Group integrates new electronic point of sale.

The Profarma Group implemented a new electronic point of sale, via facial recognition, in order to offer more agility and improve internal processes. The initiative began in 2022, with the support of a specialized consultancy, to insert a platform that met the company’s needs and was in line with Cultura Viva and market practices, enabling more innovation.

“The project was planned and executed with great care, in order to guarantee an assertive and efficient change for employees. We had a lot of work to do, but the team acted with great dedication, unity and an attentive eye to the needs of the areas, which reflects our feeling of accomplishment,” said Hortência Gardoni, the project’s PMO.

The ADP team responsible for the initiative partnered with the Information Technology area to make the change to the time clocking model. The project began with a pilot phase, carried out at the Paraíba and Minas Gerais Distribution Centers and at the Farmalife store located in CasaShopping. Subsequently, a migration schedule was developed, with the support of Profarma Distribution and Rede d1000.

“With the new tool, managers and employees are able to keep track of their points in real time, which enables an exchange relationship. Now, information is faster and errors can be identified quickly, generating a productivity gain for the ADP team,” said Helena de Oliveira, Personal Administration manager at the Profarma Group.

She also pointed out that the new electronic time clock, managed by Certponto, is collected using facial recognition, because it is through this model that the data is generated quickly and the reports are more robust. “I would like to thank all the ADP employees who worked tirelessly to complete the implementation of the tool,” concluded Helena de Oliveira.
