Profarma Group launches new calls for connection with innovative initiatives.

Profarma Group, one of the largest business conglomerates in the pharmaceutical sector of the country, has opened registrations for two new open calls aimed at connecting internal projects with startups. This time, the chosen areas are Digital Therapies and Marketplace. The initiative is carried out by Próton, the Company’s innovation hub.

Digital Therapy companies that can apply include mental health mobile app developers, online therapy platforms, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (for treating physical or mental health conditions), and devices such as smartwatches or physical activity trackers. In the Marketplace category, a virtual platform that enables multiple buyers and sellers to engage in commercial transactions, registrations from companies offering niche solutions (specializing in product categories), service-based platforms (connecting suppliers to customers), peer-to-peer (enabling direct transactions between individuals), business or B2B marketplaces, local marketplaces (with a geographical sales focus), and vertical marketplaces catering to specific sectors will be accepted. Pedro Peçanha, Innovation Manager of the Profarma Group, reveals that there are numerous benefits that the initiative can offer to the Company. “These calls are opportunities for connecting with startups operating in the healthcare ecosystem, which gives us a chance to more consistently pursue the realization of our purpose,” he says.
