On May 11th, the day before Mother’s Day, was marked by great emotion. The Tia Stellinha NGO brought together over 200 women, accompanied by their children, for the graduation of beauty, culinary, handicraft, and technology courses from the Professional Qualification project, supported by Instituto Profarma, Drogasmil, and N°21. The event took place at the organization’s headquarters in Andaraí, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and was attended by the presenter Fábio Porchat.
A group of Ambassadors of Goodness also participated in the graduation ceremony and supported the development of activities with the children. ‘Being a volunteer is always rewarding. Saturday was an amazing day, where I could support and learn a little more about how donating my time can change the lives of others. Stellinha Moraes, the president of the institution, is an example. Listening to her speak and seeing how the NGO helps so many women made me think about what more I can do to help people,’ said Cintia Esteves, Assistant in Group of Profarma.
